Adidas will cap off its series of Consortium Sneaker Exchange projects in 2017 with a duo of shoes designed by Atlanta's A Ma Maniére and Taipei's Invincible. The Adidas Ultra Boost and Adidas NMD styles (retailing at $200 each) will release first at those stores on Dec. 9, with a wider launch to follow on Dec. 16.
According to a press release, the pairs are inspired by a love of interior design shared by the partnering shops. They feature cashmere wool Primeknit uppers and, in the case of the Ultra Boost, luminescent fibers.
While some of the Consortium Sneaker Exchange projects have failed to deliver the buzz typically created by these kind of high-profile collaborations, it's not hard to imagine this duo selling out immediately given the usual fervor around monochromatic Boost shoes.
