Over the years, LeBron James' Ohio connection and love for the Ohio State Buckeyes has led to the Columbus-based university being blessed with a multitude exclusive pairs from James' signature line. While some have hit retail, others have remained player exclusives for the football and basketball teams. Thanks to @twalk22 on Instagram, there is now a look at a brand new PE colorway of the Nike LeBron 15 especially for the Buckeyes.
This pair sports a grey Battleknit upper with matching leather pull tabs on the tongue and heel, and a speckled midsole. OSU's scarlet and white team colors are featured on the multicolored laces, heel, Swoosh, and outsole. To solidify this pair as a true player exclusive, Ohio State's 'O' logo is found on the heel tab in red and white.
The Buckeyes have received other PE versions of the 15 as well. Earlier this year, the football team received a special all-red pair to celebrate “Beat Michigan” weekend. The Buckeyes basketball team also got exclusive pairs of Bron's 15th signature for Nike's PK80 tournament celebrating Phil Knight's 80th birthday this past November.
Being that these are a PE, do not expect them to make their way to retail in the future, but they are still a nice visual for fans of the Buckeyes and LeBron.
