Six Doernbecher Freestyle sneakers will hit retail in November, but these pairs won't be among them.
Here's a look at sample versions of Carissa Navarro's Air Jordan 12 and Brody Miller's Nike Air More Uptempo that won't be available to the public. According to event guests, Navarro's Jordan 12 is a 1-of-1 created for her sister, who is credited with keeping Carissa alive in the womb until she was ready to be treated for her kidney disorder. Miller's Wonder Woman-themed Uptempos coincide with his personal “Generator Man” superhero and apparently helped raise $50,000 for charity in an auction during the event.
Though these versions won't be releasing, the collection is expected to launch beginning Nov. 18.
